This girl tried making boxes on the bottom and found that the red and black markers didn’t move, but the blue one separated into a bunch of different colors. It was really beautiful!
After we realized the permanent marker doesn’t move, Tuti started by using the regular markers to make a design and outlined it in permanent marker. It was a brilliant way to tell how far the ink moves.
This girl drew boxes on the bottom of the paper and found that the ink from the black and red permanent markers didn’t move, but the blue ink moved up the page very easily and actually contains a bunch of different colors. It was really beautiful!
This was a collage of all the different designs two of the girls tried.
Two of the girls taking a selfie with their chromatography sheets! Too adorable!
